As The Mandalorian gears up for the release of its third season, the rumor mill has been arduous at work spinning quick and frequent tales of potential cameos of beloved characters within the wider Star Wars Universe.

One such character is Ezra Bridger, the protagonist within the Disney animated sequence Star Wars Rebels. It wouldn’t be the primary time a personality from one other Star Wars present appeared in The Mandalorian. In season two alone we met Bo-Katan Kryze from Clone Wars, the chief of a bunch of Mandalorians generally known as the Nite Owls, and maybe even extra excitedly, former Jedi, Ahsoka Tano, additionally from Clone Wars, performed by the magnificent Rosario Dawson.

The look of those characters naturally had our ears pinned to the bottom for any further Clone Wars or Rebel cameos. Given Ahsoka’s very huge title drop in Chapter 13, now we have purpose to consider we is likely to be one step nearer to seeing our favourite Rebel protagonist in live-action type.

Will Ezra Bridger be in The Mandalorian season three?

Season two of The Mandalorian took the whole lot we cherished about season one and cranked it up a notch. Episode 5 was no exception. In reality, it’s what kick-started the rest of the season into gear. In that episode we realized Grogu’s actual title, we met Ahsoka Tano, and we adopted Ahsoka into the town of Calodan as she dueled the town’s chief, Elsbeth. But maybe most apparently was the title Ahsoka dropped that we hadn’t anticipated to listen to.

Face to face with Elsbeth, Ahsoka demanded the ruler to disclose the whereabouts of her grasp, Grand Admiral Thrawn. This was an enormous second for the present because it actually pulled us even deeper into the Rebels canon. More importantly, it opened the door to a different potential character look: Ezra Bridger. Given that Bridger’s current disappearance immediately pertains to Thrawn, it looks as if we would meet one whereas looking for the opposite.

That being mentioned, no official phrase of Ezra Bridger’s character has been introduced, a minimum of not but. It’s very doubtless that we might see Bridger in Ahsoka Tano’s spin-off sequence Ahsoka as an alternative of The Mandalorian. (Ahsoka is rumored to hit Disney Plus towards the top of 2023).

However, given The Mandalorian’s previous of introducing characters within the wider Star Wars Universe (Boba Fett, Bo-Katan, Ahsoka, even Luke Skywalker), it looks like solely a matter of time till we meet the live-action model of Ezra Bridger, whether or not that’s in The Mandalorian, Ahsoka, or one other sequence.

The Mandalorian season three is predicted to drop close to or round Christmas of 2022, though no official release date has been talked about as of but.
