Madhuri Dixit and Anil Kapoor have starred in over a dozen movies collectively. One of them accomplished 32 years and that movie is Rakesh Roshan`s `Kishen Kanhaiya`. The different movies the duo did have been Ram Lakhan, Tezaab, Beta, Khel, Zindgi Ek Jua, Pukar, and Total Dhamaal, to call just a few. Madhuri Dixit was just lately seen in Netflix`s `The Fame Game`. 

In her debut internet collection The Fame Game, Madhuri Dixit-Nene performs a celebrity whose magnificence and success have captivated the Indian viewers. In different phrases, she is taking part in herself on display screen, you’d suppose. But Dixit says the similarities between her character Anamika Anand and her finish proper there. “Anamika’s equation together with her household — be it together with her husband or mom — is totally different from mine. She is a fictitious character. You learn so many tales [about showbiz]. I feel the author [Sri Rao] has taken these [instances], and woven them in Anamika’s life. It’s an exaggerated depiction; not all movie persons are like that,” she says, speaking solely to mid-day.

The Netflix collection tells the story of Anamika whose seemingly good life comes crumbling down when she goes lacking. Through the protagonist’s journey, showrunner Sri Rao goes past the veneer of glamour to take a tough have a look at the pitfalls of fame. Dixit, who has had a three-decade-plus run within the business, has had a protracted romance with stardom. How does she deal with its flipside? “I’ve by no means needed to pay an enormous worth for fame as a result of for me, it’s only a by-product of what I do. My focus is on my artwork — be it dancing or performing — and my household. I’ve saved the 2 [spheres] separate.”
