A brand new poster from the upcoming Marvel film Spider-Man: No Way Home is right here. And no, there may be nonetheless no affirmation of Tobey Maguire and Andrew Garfield’s presence within the film. But the poster does say rather a lot in regards to the movie’s focus — the multiverse.

In the centre are Peter Parker or Spider-Man (Tom Holland), Doctor Strange (Benedict Cumberbatch) and Michelle ‘MJ’ Jones (Zendaya). In the background is a visible of the spiralling buildings, with one other set of buildings within the background, a visible illustration of the multiverse.

We can see the tentacles of Doctor Octopus (Alfred Molina), Electro (Jamie Foxx) and his lightning bolts, a cloaked Green Goblin (Willem Dafoe) perched on his glider, and a silhouetted Lizard (Rhys Ifans).

In Spider-Man: No Way Home, the Marvel Cinematic Universe is visited by the supervillains from earlier Spidey films. This occurs as a result of a ritual carried out by Doctor Strange on Peter’s request goes unsuitable and rips the material of the universe open. The cause for the stated ritual was in order that the world will neglect Spider-Man’s actual id.

Fans count on and hope that Maguire and Garfield will come to assist Peter (the MCU one), but when that’s true, Sony and Marvel Studios will wish to maintain the shock for the film itself.

Directed by Jon Watts, Spider-Man: No Way Home is slated for release on December 17.
