Despite pulling off a powerful come-from-behind victory over the Calgary Flames on Tuesday, the San Jose Sharks had a cloud hanging over them after top-line winger Timo Meier left the lean with an obvious lower-body harm.

But it won’t be all doom and gloom for Team Teal, because the Swiss ahead may really be good to go on Thursday when his workforce visits the Edmonton Oilers.

“Fingers crossed he’ll be fine to play tomorrow,” Sharks head coach Bob Boughner informed the media Wednesday.
