The final six months have been a roller-coaster for actor Shaheer Sheikh. He was over the moon when he turned a father in October final 12 months however in 4 months, he misplaced his father.

The actor went by a tough time and had posted an emotional word after his father handed away as a consequence of Covid-19 in January, calling the loss “a void”. Talking about his dad for the primary time, Sheikh shares, “If my father taught me anything, it is how to live your life. No one can fill the space he left behind in my life. But he lived his life the way he wanted to. He loved gardening and enjoyed travel. In fact, before the pandemic, he had been around the world. Now I see a lot more of him in me. I don’t know how to express it but I would want to carry on the legacy, keep doing stuff he used to like and used to do.”

The Kuch Rang Pyaar Ke Aise Bhi actor is glad that his obtained a while to spend along with his grandchild. “My daughter was able to see her grandfather,” he says, including, “It is an amazing feeling to be with your child. I forget everything when I am with my daughter. Her smile makes me happy. Earlier, I was happy to go to work and now I want to spend more time at home. It is one of the most beautiful experiences when you become a father, especially when you see yourself in your child. In fact, I thought the joy and love I felt for my niece was everything but the emotion one feels when you are a parent is completely different. I have never felt anything like that before. I see my jhalak in my daughter (smiles).”
