Upcoming SBS sports activities sequence Racket Boys has launched an preliminary teaser poster that includes predominant stars Tang Jun-sang, Son Sang-yeon, Choi Hyun-wook, Kim Kang-hoon, Lee Jae-in, and Lee Ji-won.
Racket Boys follows the heartwarming journey of younger badminton rookies as they battle to make it in to a fiercely aggressive junior athletic match. The story is penned by Prison Playbook (2017–2018) screenwriter Jung Bo-hoon and helmed by producing director (PD) Jo Young-kwang of Heart Surgeons (2018).
Set towards the picturesque backdrop of a rural village, the freshly dropped teaser poster reveals middle-school badminton gamers Yoon Hae-gang (Tang Jun-sang, Crash Landing on You), Bang Yun-dam (Son Sang-yeon, Failing in Love), Lee Han-sol (Lee Ji-won, The Uncanny Counter), Lee Yong-tae (Kim Kang-hoon, Mouse), Na Woo-chan (Choi Hyun-wook, Taxi Driver), and Han Se-yoon (Lee Jae-in, Undercover) all lined up in a row whereas chasing after the city bus. Adding dashes of hope and optimism to the scene are tiny graphics of shuttlecocks, white feathers, and colourful dots that scatter throughout the cloudy, blue sky. The phrase within the center says, “Welcome, is it your first time in a village at the edge of the earth?” elevating everybody’s curiosity on how the six vibrant characters will attain a seemingly not possible dream collectively.
The manufacturing group shared, “The teaser poster is a sneak peek of the refreshing scenes in Racket Boys. Bright, clean, and cool nature will visit everyone at home and ease away their tiredness during these difficult times. We hope to make you smile and introduce you to a wonderful process of healing.”
