The Nashville Predators have agreed to a two-year, $8M contract with free-agent ahead Nino Niederreiter.
Niederreiter’s deal comes with a $4M AAV.
Last season with the Carolina Hurricanes, Niederreiter completed with 44 points (24 objectives, 20 assists) in 75 regular-season video games. He posted 5 factors (4 objectives, 1 help) in 14 Stanley Cup Playoff video games.
Niederreiter had been with the Hurricanes since 2019, despatched to Carolina in a commerce from the Minnesota Wild in trade for Victor Rask.
The 29-year-old compiled 137 factors (69 objectives, 68 assists) in 234 profession video games for the Hurricanes.

Niederreiter was the No. 5 general decide within the first spherical of the 2010 draft by the New York Islanders. After spending components of two seasons on Long Island, New York traded Niederreiter to the Wild for a third-round draft decide and Cal Clutterbuck.
A five-time 20-goal scorer, Niederreiter has averaged 20 objectives and 22 assists per season over his 11-year profession.
In 732 profession NHL video games for the Islanders, Wild, and Hurricanes, Niederreiter has 368 factors (181 objectives, 187 assists).
