Actor Nandamuri Balakrishna, in an interview to a number one Telugu channel, has stirred up an issue after he claimed he doesn’t know who AR Rahman is or look after his achievements.
Talking to TV9, Balakrishna claimed he doesn’t know AR Rahman, who offers one hit album each decade. A brief clip from the interview has gone viral on social media.
Nandamuri Balakrishna stated: “I don’t know who Rahman is. I don’t care. Once in a decade, he gives a hit and gets an Oscar award.”
Fans trolled Balakrishna for his cheeky response. One fan identified that it’s a tragedy to not learn about a world icon like AR Rahman.
Another fan wrote that it’s this perspective of Balakrishna that makes individuals hate him.
