MBC’s new drama “Kokdu: Season of Deity” is off to a promising begin!
“Kokdu: Season of Deity” is a fantasy romance drama starring Kim Jung Hyun as Kokdu, a grim reaper who leaves the underworld each 99 years to punish people within the mortal realm. During his newest journey, he winds up assembly Han Gye Jeol, a feminine physician who has the mysterious skill to order him round (performed by Im Soo Hyang).
On January 27, the brand new drama premiered to larger viewership scores than its predecessor “The Forbidden Marriage” (the collection that beforehand occupied its time slot). According to Nielsen Korea, the primary episode of “Kokdu: Season of Deity” scored a median nationwide ranking of 4.8 %.
Meanwhile, SBS’s “Payback” broke into double-digit scores with its newest episode, which earned a nationwide common of 11.1 % and set a brand new private file for the present.
