A forty five-meter tall mural of an illustration of Naoya Matsumoto‘s Kaiju No. 8 manga is at present unfold throughout the constructing of the Bibliothèque Nationale, France’s nationwide library, in Paris.
The mural is a part of an ongoing exhibition being held by French anime and manga writer Kazé to commemorate the release of Kaiju No. 8‘s first quantity in France. The exhibition began on October 6, the identical day as the quantity’s release, and can run till October 15.

Matsumoto launched the Kaiju No. 8 manga in July 2020 on Shueisha‘s Shonen Jump+ web site. The first print quantity shipped on December 4, 2020, and the quantity has since had two extra printings resulting from demand. Last month, the manga surpassed 4 million copies in circulation, making it the quickest Shonen Jump+ manga (versus manga working in Shueisha‘s print magazines) to achieve the milestone.
