Fitting Indian is a brand new YA graphic novel written by comic and influencer Jyoti Chand and drawn by Tara Anand. Pitched as Never Have I Ever meets Spinning, this YA graphic novel follows Nitasha as she navigates stress and expectations from her conventional South Asian household, the challenges of highschool—and her psychological well being. Tara Anand is an illustrator and visible artist from Bombay, India primarily based in New York City. On Instagram, Chand posted;

Jyoti Chand Creates Fitting Indian YA Graphic Novel With Tara Anand

Fitting Indian will likely be revealed within the winter of 2024, by Clarissa Wong when she was at HarperCollins. She’s moved on now to Scholastic, so Megan Ilnitzki will now edit the graphic novel.  Jyoti Chand and Tara Anand’s agent Chad W. Beckerman on the CAT Agency represented them each.
