Rumours have been rife that Vicky Kaushal and Sara Ali Khan’s The Immortal Ashwatthama has been shelved. Producer Ronnie Screwvala had reportedly mentioned in an announcement: “In the final draft of the script, the ambition of the film and the funds didn’t match and the general uncertainty fueled by COVID, didn’t assist. So all of us – Aditya (Dhar), Vicky (Kaushal) and I – determined that we have to put this again for one more six to 9 months. Sara (Ali Khan, the main girl), additionally agreed. We should work extra on the funds and circle again when issues look higher general for the magnum opus which ‘Ashwatthama’ is being deliberate as”.

Now, ETimes studies that The Immortal Ashwatthama is admittedly not taking place. According to the leisure portal, Ronnie Screwvala realised that the funds of the movie actually can’t be managed as director Aditya Dhar and his associates had written the movie in such a approach that it was simply going to price upwards of INR 200 crores to make.
