GOT7’s Jinyoung Discusses Why He Introduces Himself In Two Ways, His Father’s Advice About Dreams, And More

GOT7’s Jinyoung has participated in a candid interview with Dazed!

In the video earlier than the interview, Jinyoung launched himself, saying, “Hello. I’m Park Jin Young and GOT7’s Jinyoung.” When requested concerning the cause for that, he defined, “It’s actually difficult. There are many people who work under the name of Jinyoung, so I’ve been introducing myself by adding my group’s name GOT7, but now that I’m working as Park Jin Young, I think I’m going through a transition process between the two names. So when I introduce myself, I purposely say both names.”

Jinyoung’s father as soon as stated, “Those who break their dreams will fulfill their dreams.” Jinyoung shared he nonetheless deeply empathizes with it and commented that it’s not a grandiose factor to say. He remarked, “When you only think about your dreams, it eventually inflates in many directions because it’s just a thought. The quote is pointing out that we should be realistic about that. Everything starts from the bottom, but if you keep dreaming, it’s hard to stay true to reality. I think my father meant that I shouldn’t think about what comes after the job but to accept reality first and then make an effort.”

When requested what sort of story he desires to inform as an actor sooner or later, Jinyoung answered, “I think it would be great if I could be an actor who can tell any story. To put it a little bit more bluntly, I want to be one who can portray what the director and writer want in a more sharp and accurate way and deliver it to the viewers.”
