Actor Dean Cain, who performed Superman in Lois & Clark: The New Adventures of Superman from 1993 to 1997, is unimpressed by the information that the superhero 
Clark Kent’s son Jon Kent can be bisexual.

He is just not completely happy that Jon Kent can be depicted as being drawn to each women and men within the Superman: Son of Kal-El comedian and shared that writers are merely “bandwagoning” and haven’t finished something significantly “courageous”.

Speaking on a chat present, he mentioned, “They mentioned it’s a daring new route, I say they’re bandwagoning. Robin simply got here out as bi. The new Captain America is homosexual. My daughter in [the TV series] Supergirl, the place I performed the daddy, was homosexual. So I don’t suppose it’s daring or courageous or some loopy new route. If they’d finished this 20 years in the past, maybe that might be daring or courageous.”

The actor insisted it might be extra “courageous” if Superman was depicted making an attempt to deal with international “injustices” as a substitute.  “Brave could be having him preventing for the rights of homosexual folks in Iran. Or preventing for the rights of girls to attend faculty and have the flexibility to work and dwell and boys to not be raped by males underneath the brand new heat and fuzzy Taliban. That could be courageous, I’d learn that.”
