Actor Cha Tae Hyun expressed disappointment together with his youngsters, who’re experiencing puberty.

Cha Tae Hyun appeared on KBS2’s “Problem Child in House”, which aired on December twenty eighth, and confessed that he was upset due to his first son and second daughter after they confirmed indicators of puberty.

Cha Tae Hyun stated, “My son has become distant with our family since he was in the sixth grade of elementary school. At some point, he went through puberty. There was no big accident. He did well at school, went to the academy, and played computer games for the rest of his time. There was no reason for us to talk. We didn’t talk to each other”.

He shared, “Thinking that we should let him alone, we put his meal in his room like a scene in the movie ‘Old Boy’. My wife hated it because she values manners. A few years later, there was a quarrel after my wife shouted ‘Come out here and eat dinner’. Eventually, my son listened to his mother”.

Cha Tae Hyun confessed, “I found it difficult talking to my son. Receiving bad responses when talking about school things, the child will show expression. It hurt my feelings. I sent him about 70 lines of text messages about entering high school. What I got in the reply was ‘Uh’. I sent 30-40 more lines because our conversation was not over yet, but he continued to reply ‘Uh’”, expressing his disappointment.

He stated, “My second kid Tae Eun is also at the early stage of puberty”, including “I also sent 30-40 lines to her, but she only said ‘Yes’. Then I asked, ‘Tae Eun ah, isn’t your reply too short?’, and she said, ‘Yes yes’. I was fine with my son, but I was upset with my daughter”.

He added, “I have so many kids. My third child is still nice. She’s full of cuteness. That’s why I’m focusing on my third child rather than the second one”, drawing laughter.
