NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport (h/t Kevin Patra) and ESPN beforehand reported that star Tampa Bay Buccaneers broad receiver Chris Godwin would miss at the very least the remainder of the common season as a result of an MCL sprain he suffered within the second quarter of Sunday’s prime-time loss to the New Orleans Saints that dropped the defending Super Bowl champions to 10-4 general.

That damage is even worse than feared.

Per the NFL’s web site, Buccaneers head coach Bruce Arians has since confirmed Godwin tore his ACL Sunday evening. That, after all, will hold the 25-year-old sidelined by way of your complete playoffs and, probably, the beginning of the 2022 season.
