Cleveland Cavaliers’ Donovan Mitchell and Memphis Grizzlies’ Dillon Brooks have been each ejected from Thursday’s recreation after a bodily altercation within the third quarter. Here’s what you should know:
- The scuffle occurred with 5:48 remaining within the third quarter. Brooks drove onerous to the ring and hit the ground on the missed lay-up try.
- Mitchell then scooped up the rebound close to the baseline. Brooks, on the bottom, swung his left arm backwards and hit Mitchell beneath the belt.
- Both gamers bought up and shoved one another earlier than referees, teammates and staffers jumped in to separate them. Mitchell and Brooks have been later ejected.
- Brooks had 9 factors and two rebounds on the time of the scuffle. Mitchell had six factors, 4 rebounds and three assists.
