Ben Stiller is nearing a deal to star in a restricted collection adaptation of the documentary ‘Three Identical Strangers’, ‘Variety’ has realized.

The collection hails from author Amy Lippman with Sony Pictures Television producing it together with SK Global and TriStar Television. Like the documentary, the collection would give attention to the true story of Bobby Shafran, David Kellman and Eddy Galland — similar triplets who have been separated at beginning solely to be reunited later in life.
